‘CONCUSSION’ speaks to how we live in a society that tells us we are the broken ones that need fixing when we show signs of sadness, anger, or anxiety. Our pain is treated in isolation rather than holistically, and we're given medication to dampen what our body is telling us.
This single poses the question: Is our society genuinely the broken one?
So many questions have been asked over the past few years, but very few, if any, have been answered. One thing is for sure. Some people have made a shit ton of money. Now, if that ain't some truth. The current state of things is a direct result of the leaders we have. It's as simple as that.
We are passionate people. Very few people think through reason and logic. But vibes don't lead a country. They turn things into a state of shit, as they are right about now. It isn't all our fault, though. So many external avenues pull us to either side. It separates us from the truth and manipulates us into hurting each other rather than helping us come together. Plus, if you live in certain countries, you don't even get a choice of the person who leads but rather the party. Now, that was a wild ride. Welcome to Australia 😅
The sad truth and reality we live in is that money is more valuable than life. Think about that for a moment. Everything around us we created. We made it all up. We made up money. After the gold standard was abolished in 1971, money no longer needed to be real. Interestingly, our core values have also increasingly declined over those decades.
Does the virus continue to spread, and we descend into anarchy?
The breakdown of the music video will be released in the coming weeks, giving a much greater insight into the message of HOPE. I wish to share that with you in this Music Video: the message of HOPE. The past few years have been a roller coaster of emotions, uncertainty, fear, and mistrust. This might seem strange, but it reminds me of those zombie movies or the popular TV show “The Walking Dead.”
You think it would be great to find people just like you, the ones who managed to escape and survive. But more often than not, we don’t all share the same views and thoughts. In such moments when a virus spreads, we turn to faith, to a higher power for guidance, to help us through the difficult times.
Perhaps the question I'm genuinely posing is: How do we unite and support each other?
Perhaps through HOPE.
Much Love,
Val
