I'm not one to play one song to the next; this ain't no playlist and call it a mix channel. It's challenging mixing pop 80s synthwave with other tunes without waiting till the end. But when the song ends, it's not a matter of just playing the next tune, you could lose the vibe of the mix that way. Through effects and placing the right songs you can find a way to mix and create something special for the listener. Yes, there are moments when you just have to let a song play through, there is simply just too much going on and that's okay, but not all the time. Try it out for yourself.
